Ardnamurchan Distillery opened in July 2014 in Glenbeg, on the Ardnamurchan peninsula — one of the most westerly points on the British mainland — built by the Adelphi Distillery Company, which had already established a strong reputation as an independent bottler of quality malt whisky since 1993.
